Making New Connections in Regional Transit
Real Problem
MobiliSE is a non-profit organization that unites regional leaders around shared strategies and actions to address Southeastern Wisconsin’s transportation challenges. Its goal: Accelerate transformative projects and drive increased investment to drive an activated, regional workforce through modern, flexible, and efficient transportation solutions for all. Since its founding in the 1990s, the organization has struggled to build awareness, consensus and ultimately action on its agenda. It needed strong, consistent storytelling to expand its reach, solidify its existing partnerships, attract new regional, state and even national partners.
Solution
Transforming Transit — Carl Collective leveraged MobiliSE’s rebranding to find new opportunities to lift up the organization and its executive director in 2021 – and delivered. We developed a new organizational approach and fresh content for the MobiliSE website, drove a virtual “Intersections” webinar series, coordinated media coverage, and led the strategy and execution of MobiliSE Fall Symposium events in 2021 and 2022, as dozens of local elected, business and community leaders gathered to discuss multimodal transit in the region. We also planned, organized and facilitated the MobiliSE Roundtable with three Wisconsin state secretaries, as they met with MobiliSE leadership and partners to discuss the future of the organization and FlexRide Milwaukee.
